NBA Kills Trade Of Chris Paul To Lakers
The blockbuster Chris Paul trade is off, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. Other media outlets have confirmed that the deal is dead.
NBA owners have pushed David Stern to kill a proposed trade that would send Paul to the Lakers from the NBA-owned Hornets.

Lakers To Acquire Chris Paul
The Lakers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Chris Paul from the Hornets while giving up Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom.
The Rockets will also be involved, with Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic going to the Hornets. New Orleans will also acquire a first round draft pick from the Knicks and Odom.
